Getting started

Create an account, add a photo and your name, then browse Hangouts to find plans near you. Tap "Count me in" to join.

Why do I need to verify?

Verification builds trust. Submit a quick selfie; once an admin approves it you get a verified badge and can join and host. If your status does not update right away, reopen the app - it refreshes automatically.

Joining a plan

Some plans let you join instantly. Others need the host to approve your request, or require payment in advance - in those cases you will see "Request to join". The host reviews requests and you will be notified of the outcome.

Paid spots & group buys

Tagalong never handles money. You pay the host or vendor directly; the host confirms once payment is received. Always confirm details before paying.

Hosting

Tap "Host" in Hangouts to create a plan. Set the activity, time, capacity, and whether you want to approve requests. Your plan appears in My Plans.
